This 4-week series will help you develop sustained concentration, an essential capacity for all meditative practice.
From finishing projects to entering euphoric states of "flow," the ability to focus and sustain attention is the foundational skill.
And yet, we rarely dedicate the time and quality effort to cultivating this important capacity. In fact, because of our many devices, we often do quite the opposite.
Fortunately, many ancient traditions cultivated concentration. Aspects of these methods have been preserved and passed down through text and oral tradition.
In this 4-week series, we will gain a deeper understanding of attention and how to develop it. We will work with core factors of success: posture, directing attention, intensifying focus, and metacognition. We will also observe and correct common obstacles to sustained concentration such as wavering attention, divided attention, and general haziness.
The capacities developed during this series will be helpful for any meditative practice you currently have or may have in the future. Naturally, these skills also help in the accomplishment of any life goals.
We will draw upon tips and insights from Judaism, Buddhism, Taoism, Sufism, ancient Greek and Roman thought, and evidence-based research in meditation, psychology, and neuroscience.
Meditative concentration brings the mind into clarity and alignment, reduces stress, and generates the power of accomplishment.

30 min live sessions at 8 am PT Monday- Friday
Sessions are five days a week (Mon-Fri).
The material progresses throughout the 4-weeks.
All sessions are live and take place on Zoom (Links are sent after registration)
All sessions are recorded and available for download within 8 hrs of the live session
