Introduction to Meditation ENDED (Apr 20 - Jun 20)

from $200.00
Sold Out (email to be added to waitlist)

Overview

This series, while informed by Sufic, Buddhist, Vedic, Taoist understandings of meditation and the mind,  will not delve very deeply into the specific spiritual practices or cosmologies of any one tradition. Instead, this series will focus on the foundational orientations and practices that serve as support to any future study of contemplative disciplines you may explore.

Widely accepted research and tradition both affirm that meditation practices can help us navigate life's challenges, enjoy life’s delights and mysteries, and ultimately experience more of our being and fulfill more of our life’s potential.

Meditation has been shown to provide a wide range of physical and mental benefits, including psycho-emotional resiliency, reduced stress, lower blood pressure, improved attention and memory, increased creativity, and the list goes on. However, its deepest value may be in reacquainting us with aspects of ourselves that the normal course of life tends to pull us away from.

These perspectives and tools have enriched my life beyond measure. So, again, I am happy to support your practice!
