


Meditation and the Inner Life (Mar 22-May 1, 2021)

While our outer lives provide many joys and pleasures, to never explore the inner life is to miss half the show.
This 6-week series offers a journey of self that leads to a more profound experience of life. Some meditative experience recommended, though not required.
Humans have developed methods to navigate and appreciate the inner dimension of life.
Every religious, philosophical, and mystical tradition from every era and culture has offered perspectives and practices to guide sincere seekers toward the goals of vast understanding, less suffering, and more joy.
Meditation has often been central to this guidance and acts as both catalyst and vehicle for the journey.
This six-week series finds inspiration and direction from sage seekers, including Plotinus, Buddha, Marcus Aurelius, St. Teresa of Avila, Hazrat Inayat Khan, Thomas Merton, among others.
Meditative practice refines our palate of experience and opens us to the unlimited world within. Let us explore the doorway to the infinite.
Our practice will draw upon insights and techniques from traditional contemplative disciplines and evidence-based research in meditation, psychology, and neuroscience.
This 6-week series will explore the following topics:
Awakening to the inner life
Stages of the journey of self
Concepts of the divine, sacred, nature, and the cosmic whole
Series Details
30 min live sessions are offered twice daily at 8 am PT and 6 pm PT.
Choose the time best for your schedule, but feel free to attend either or both.
Sessions are six days a week (Mon-Sat).
Saturdays only have one session at 8 am PT and will occasionally use different class formats.
The material progresses throughout the six-weeks.
All sessions are live and take place on Zoom (Links are sent after registration)
All sessions are recorded and available for download within 8 hrs of the live session
